In testing on Google Play

Training Nutrition

Two coaches.
One day.

One coach for how you train. A different one for how you eat. Each reads only its own side of your day, and both answer to the numbers you logged.

Coming to Google Play. Free while we are in testing, with 14 days of full AI to start. Premium follows later; the logbook stays free when it does.

Training

Squat felt heavy again. Add weight anyway?

No. You've put 5 kg on it in three weeks and both sessions last week were RPE 9. Hold 100 kg one more week, then add. You'll get the bar speed back first, and the jump will stick.

Reads your training. Never your food logs.

Nutrition

You're 22 g under on protein with dinner still to come — nothing dramatic, just worth knowing. The Greek yoghurt you logged Tuesday would close most of it.

Reads your food. Never your training logs.

They pass each other a short summary: your goal, your rough load, how recovery is going. Never each other's raw logs.

Two sides, not two apps

Your lifting and your lunch need different tools.

So Xoof gives each its own home, its own colour and its own coach. Run one side and you will never see the other. Run both and each knows roughly what the other is doing.

Training

Lime side

Make the work count twice.

Log a session once and it does five jobs: your history, your records, your volume chart, your next plan, and the evidence your coach argues from.

  • Voice, text and manual logging with a review step
  • Personal records, est. 1RM and strength-to-bodyweight
  • Hard-set volume by muscle, movement balance, heatmap
  • Templates, repeat-last-session, in-workout rest timer
  • Plans that adapt to the sessions you actually did

Nutrition

Tangerine side

Eat with the full picture.

A calorie total tells you very little on its own. Xoof tracks protein, fibre, food variety and how processed the day was alongside it, and never turns any of that into a verdict on you.

  • Photo, voice, text, barcode and saved-meal logging
  • Daily energy budget with protein, carbs and fat
  • Food-quality score you can audit down to the plate
  • Missing barcode? Add it once, earn credits, reuse forever
  • Coaching that never asks you to compensate or earn food

Capture without the chore

Logging you will still be doing in March.

Every method lands in the same place: an editable draft you check before it saves. Xoof never writes a record you have not seen.

For training

Speak the session

Talk through it on the walk out. "Bench, five at eighty, then three sets of eight."

Type it

Paste a plan or thumb a line between sets. Same parser, no microphone needed.

Or do it by hand

The full editor is always there — sets, reps, load, RPE, supersets, notes.

For nutrition

Photograph the plate

Get back an editable draft with ingredients, portions and macros to correct.

Scan the barcode

Real product data. If it is missing, add it once and it is there next time.

Reuse what you eat

Saved meals, recent meals and your food library make repeat breakfasts a tap.

Logging works offline too — captures queue up and sync when you are back on signal. On the gym floor that matters more than it sounds.

The journey layer

A goal that tells you the truth.

Set a body-weight or strength target and Xoof works out where you started, how fast you are actually moving, and when you are likely to arrive. All of it is calculated from your own logs, with no AI anywhere near the number.

An arrival range, never a promised date

Body weight moves in a jagged line, so one confident date would claim more than the data supports. Xoof shows the window your current pace covers.

Falling behind never speeds you up

The pace is capped once, when you set the goal. Missing it never makes Xoof demand a steeper deficit to catch up. That cap lives in the projection code, so no change of wording can quietly undo it.

Losing faster than planned raises a flag

If a cut is running ahead of the rate you chose, Xoof says so and asks about it. It will not applaud a rate it would have refused to set.

Read off your trend so far, and it moves as you keep logging.

Calculated inside Xoof from weigh-ins you logged. No AI call, no credits spent.

Where the AI stops

The numbers are maths. The coaching is AI.

Every figure Xoof shows you comes out of a function you could check by hand. The model is handed those figures and writes about them. It is never asked to work one out.

Calculated, not generated

These come from deterministic functions over your own logs. Same input, same output, every time. No AI call, no credit cost.

  • Personal records and estimated 1RM
  • Hard-set volume, weekly trends and movement balance
  • Calories, macros and your daily energy budget
  • Goal pace, progress and arrival range
  • The daily food-quality score and every component of it

Written by AI, on top of those

The coaches interpret and explain. They are handed the figures rather than working them out, and they are instructed never to diagnose.

  • Turning a voice note or photo into a draft you review
  • Training and nutrition summaries in your coach's voice
  • Answering questions in the coach conversation
  • Drafting a training block or a meal plan

AI can be wrong. Every capture is yours to correct before it saves, and coaching is general information — never medical advice.

Worked example

A score you can argue with.

Yesterday's food quality, broken into named components, with the actual foods that moved each one listed underneath. If you disagree with the score you can see exactly which plate to blame. A day you barely logged gets no score at all, because a missing label says nothing about the meal.

It scores the composition of the food and nothing else: not your calories, not your adherence, not you.

Your data

We are not in the data business.

There is no advertising business behind Xoof and no plan for one. Charging for Premium later is how we intend to keep it that way.

Never sold

Your data is never sold, and never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Never trained on

Your workouts, meals, notes and conversations are not used to train any AI model.

AI is opt-in

Health-adjacent data goes to AI only on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw any time. Manual logging never needs it.

Yours to take back

Export everything as JSON, or delete your account permanently, from inside the app.

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies at all. See how we handle your data.

Almost there

Your first log can be a set or a sandwich.

Xoof is in testing on Google Play now. When it goes public you can start logging without handing over a card, and spend 14 days on full AI to find out whether two coaches change anything for you.

What it costs

While Xoof is in testing: no subscription, no in-app purchase, no card field to fill in.

Free today

Premium follows once testing ends

Premium is what will fund the AI after your 14 days run out. The logbook stays free when it lands, and we will publish the price here before anyone can be charged. What that means.

Questions

Before it lands.

What actually makes Xoof different?

Two separate specialist coaches. Your training coach only ever sees your training, and your nutrition coach only ever sees your food — they exchange a short summary, never each other's raw logs. You choose each coach's focus (what they coach) and their delivery (how they talk) independently, so you can have a blunt powerlifting coach and a calm, low-pressure nutrition coach at the same time.

What can I log, and how?

Training: speak a session, type it, or use the manual editor. Nutrition: photograph the plate, speak it, type it, scan a barcode, or reuse a saved meal. Every AI capture comes back as an editable draft that you review before anything is saved — Xoof never writes a log you have not seen.

Is the AI making up my progress numbers?

No. Personal records, training volume, goal pace, arrival estimates and the daily food-quality score are all calculated deterministically inside Xoof from data you logged. They involve no AI call and cost no credits. The AI writes coaching on top of those numbers; it does not invent them.

When can I get Xoof?

The Android app is the first release and it is on a Google Play testing track now, which is the last step before it goes public. There is no download link yet; when there is, it will be on this site. Ask us on the Get Xoof page and we will send you one email on the day it goes live.

What does it cost?

Nothing today. Xoof takes no payments while it is in testing: no card, no subscription, no in-app purchase, nothing to cancel. Once testing finishes we will introduce a paid tier, Xoof Premium, because the AI has a real running cost behind it and we would rather charge for it than sell your data. The logbook stays free when that happens — logging, history, records, libraries, targets and goals are not going behind the paywall. Premium is what keeps the AI going once your 14-day allowance runs out. We will publish the price here before anyone can be charged, and moving to Premium will always be a choice you make.

So what do I actually get at launch?

The whole logbook on both sides, free and not time-limited: workout and meal logging, full history, personal records, the exercise and food libraries, saved meals, templates, targets, goals and the rest timer. New accounts also get 14 days of full AI: voice, photo, both coaches and plan generation, with no card, because there is no card field to fill in. After those 14 days the AI pauses and the logbook carries on unchanged. Premium is what will restart the AI.

Is my health data private?

We never sell your personal data, never share it with advertisers or data brokers, and never use it to train any AI model. AI features run on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time without losing manual logging. You can export everything or delete your account permanently from inside the app.

Is Xoof medical advice?

No. Xoof is a logging and coaching tool, not a medical device or healthcare service, and it cannot diagnose, treat or prevent anything. Coaching is general information only. If you have an injury, a health condition, or a difficult relationship with food or your body, please speak to a qualified professional — see our Health & Safety Disclaimer.
