Delete your Xoof data
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Your Xoof data is yours, and you can delete it whenever you like without deleting your account. This page covers removing individual entries or whole categories from inside the app. If you want to delete your entire account and everything in it, see Delete your Xoof account instead.
Delete individual entries
Most things you log can be deleted one at a time, and each deletion takes effect immediately:
- Open Xoof and sign in.
- Go to the entry you want to remove — a workout, meal, bodyweight entry or check-in.
- Open it, or use the delete (bin) control on its card.
- Confirm. The entry, and any transcript stored with it, is erased.
The same applies to goals: open a goal and delete it to remove it from your history.
Clear whole categories
From Profile you can also wipe larger sets of data in one step:
- Custom exercise library — reset it to the built-in defaults, or wipe your custom exercises entirely, from the exercise-library editor in Profile.
- Demo data — if you added the sample workouts and meals, delete them all in one click from the demo-data card in Profile.
What gets deleted, and what is kept
Whatever you delete is removed from your account. Because Xoof calculates food-quality scores and goal progress on request from what you have logged rather than storing them as separate records, deleting the underlying entries removes them from those calculations too. Raw voice recordings and food photographs are never retained after they are read, so there is nothing of that kind left to delete.
Two things are not affected by deleting individual entries, and neither is used to rebuild a profile of you:
- Server logs, which are automatically deleted on a rolling 30-day cycle, and encrypted operational backups, which are overwritten in the ordinary course.
- Your account itself — email, password and profile stay in place so you can keep using Xoof. To remove those as well, delete your account at Delete your Xoof account.
Full detail on how long each class of data is kept is in the Privacy Policy, section 5.
Prefer we did it, or already uninstalled?
If you would rather we deleted specific data for you, email fooxxed@gmail.com from the email address on your Xoof account, with the subject Delete my Xoof data, and tell us what you want removed. Writing from the address on the account is how we confirm the request is really yours; if you cannot, we will ask you a few questions to verify it first. We action requests within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.
Want a copy first?
You can ask for a copy of your data before deleting it. Email fooxxed@gmail.com and we will send a machine-readable export. Do this before deleting — once data is gone we cannot produce it.
