Delete your Xoof account
Last updated: 29 July 2026
You can delete your Xoof account at any time, and you do not need our permission or a reason. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and the training and nutrition history in it. There is no undo and no recovery window, so export anything you want to keep first.
Option 1 — delete it in the app
This is the fastest route and it completes immediately.
- Open Xoof and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm with your password, or by signing in with Google again if that is how you sign in. We ask for this so that a stolen phone or session cannot wipe your data.
Your account and its data are erased as soon as you confirm, and you are signed out.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you have already uninstalled Xoof, lost access to your account, or would simply rather we did it, email fooxxed@gmail.com from the email address on your Xoof account, with the subject Delete my Xoof account.
Please include the email address you signed up with. That is all we need — do not send your password. Writing from the address on the account is how we confirm the request is really yours; if you cannot, we will ask you a few questions to verify it before we delete anything.
We action deletion requests within 30 days, and usually within a few working days. You do not need to reinstall Xoof to have your account deleted.
What gets deleted
Everything held under your account, including:
- your account and profile — email address, password, name, bio and settings;
- every workout, meal, saved meal and privately saved food;
- bodyweight entries, check-ins, nutrition targets and goals, including completed ones;
- coach conversations, coach summaries and coach memory;
- voice transcripts attached to your logs;
- AI usage counters and your credit balance;
- feedback and reports you have sent us from inside the app;
- first-party service events recorded against your account.
Raw voice recordings and photographs of food are never retained after they are read, so there is nothing of that kind left to delete.
What we have to keep
One thing survives account deletion, and it is not used to rebuild a profile of you:
- Server logs, which are automatically deleted on a rolling 30-day cycle, and encrypted operational backups, which are overwritten in the ordinary course.
There are no billing or invoice records to keep. Xoof takes no payments today — no subscription, no in-app purchase, no card details — so nothing financial exists to be retained under tax law. If you buy Xoof Premium after it launches, invoices for it will be kept for the period tax law requires, and we will say so here.
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, section 5.
There is no subscription to cancel
Deleting your account ends your access to Xoof, and that is the whole of it. Xoof takes no payments today, so there is no subscription running alongside your account that could keep charging you after it is gone — see Refund & Cancellation.
Just want your data instead?
You have the right to a copy of your data, separately from deleting it. Email fooxxed@gmail.com and we will send you a machine-readable export. It is worth doing this before you delete, not after — once the account is gone we cannot produce it.
