Coaches
Pick what they coach.
Pick how they talk.
Xoof splits a coach into two settings you pick separately: the lens they coach through, and the way they say it. One per side, both changeable whenever you like, so nothing about your training coach constrains how your nutrition coach talks to you.
Dimension one
Focus — what they coach
The lens. A powerlifting focus gets squat, bench and deadlift specificity and fatigue management; a healthy-ageing focus gets protein, fibre and cardiometabolic habits. Each focus also changes which evidence from your history the coach is shown.
Dimension two
Delivery — how they talk
The voice. Blunt, warm, precise, funny, calm. Delivery changes wording only — never the recommendation. Dex and Mira, given identical logs, will tell you the same thing in very different tones.
A merciless powerlifting coach on one side and a gentle, low-pressure nutrition coach on the other is a perfectly ordinary pairing. Plenty of people want exactly that.

Squat felt heavy again. Add weight anyway?
No. You've put 5 kg on it in three weeks and both sessions last week were RPE 9. Hold 100 kg one more week, then add. You'll get the bar speed back first, and the jump will stick.
Reads your training. Never your food logs.

Squat felt heavy again. Add weight anyway?
I'd sit tight this week. You've added 5 kg in three weeks and logged RPE 9 twice — that's the point where most people start grinding reps instead of gaining them. Repeat 100 kg, then push.
Reads your training. Never your food logs.
What never changes
The rules every coach runs on.
They stay in their lane
Your nutrition coach gets a short brief about your training — your goal, rough load, how recovery is going. It never receives your sets, and your training coach never receives your meals.
They remember, within limits
Each side keeps its own durable conversation with bounded memory, so you are not re-explaining your knee every week. The two threads never merge.
You can delete anything
Delete a single message, a whole exchange, or clear a conversation entirely. Deleted text is gone from the memory the coach rebuilds from, not just hidden.
They never diagnose
Coaches are instructed never to give a medical opinion, and the disclaimer sits permanently in the conversation. If something needs a professional, that is what you should hear.
They argue from evidence
Coaching is grounded in figures Xoof calculated from your logs. Where the evidence is thin, a coach should say so and ask — not invent a confident answer.
They will not applaud harm
A cut running faster than the rate you set is raised as a concern, not celebrated. Nothing asks you to compensate for, earn, or make up for food.
Both coaches, from your first log.
